By Road

To the Church

St Nicholas’ Church is two and a half hours by car from London.
Follow the M3, M27 & A31 to Wimborne and then signs to Wareham.
From Wareham take the A351 towards Corfe Castle and then the B3351 to Studland.
On entering the village turn right into School Lane. Parking at Manor Farm tea room is 50 meters on your right.
Please remember £3 to pay for parking. All proceeds to Macmillan.

To the reception from the Church

From Studland take the B3351 through Corfe Castle and on towards Kimmeridge. Just before you drop down into the village, turn left up the private drive to Smedmore House.
IMPORTANT: The private drive for Smedmore is often not shown by SatNav.
Do not rely on Google maps or the AA.com as they will take you through Kingston and Encombe along a bridleway which is not accessible to vehicles.

By Rail

Trains run direct from London Waterloo to Wareham on South West Trains taking 2.5 hours. Taxis can be booked from Wareham station to the church.

By Air

The nearest local airports are Bournemouth International Airport and  Southampton Airport.
At Southampton airport passengers can travel on from Southampton Airport Parkway railway station to Wareham. The onward journey takes 70 minutes.
